Edinburgh, Scotland

Flew into Edinburgh through KLM from Amsterdam and the flight took 1.5hours with sandwiches and drinks provided. Took a 45mins bus ride near the airport exit with 1.60GBP per person to the Royal Mile, Old Town itself. Checked-in and the trip has started.

Edinburgh, capital of Scotland is unexpectedly beautiful. Elegant on the hilly landscape with spectacular Scottish buildings. Every corner of the historic buildings has some stories to tell. Friendly summer weather is truly a bliss to us. Everything looks more beautiful in this season. With such a beautiful weather and so much to see, I wish I have stayed slightly longer than two days.

Scottish whisky,
Scottish shortbread,
Scottish kilt in royal steward tartan,
Scottish bagpipes and drums,
All of these are parts of the remarkable flavours of Scottish character.

Have you been to Edinburgh? Do you also love it as much as we do?

Cheers,
