Taste of China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³

In May 2005, I was extremely ecstatic with my family trip in Beijing. It was my maiden trip overseas and meant a lot to a school girl like me. During that trip, we were in Beijing – Tianjin – Cheng De – Beijing. Mesmerised with the charm of Forbidden City, Great Wall of China, Summer Palace, Seeing Pandas for the first time, Tasting delectable Beijing Duck and other savoury warm Chinese food, experiencing the full bloom of spring Β with the family, looking back now 12 years have passed, and all are parts of the pleasant travel experience. Am looking forward for another trip like this with the family.

Six years later after that trip, I’ve made another trip to China in Shanghai for almost two weeks covering places Shanghai – Wu Zhen ( water Β village) – West Lake – Hang Zhou – Su Zhou – Nan Jing and Shanghai. It was just as memorable as the previous one altogether even though the companions were not the same. Punting in Hangzhou was something new, cruising at the West Lake, learning about different sizes and types of Chinese dumpling, captured by the long history of the country and together with the metropolitan facet of Shanghai. China has so much to offer and becoming popular among tourists. Well, definitely worth another trip for me. Below are some of the pictures from second my trip in Shanghai in 2011. Enjoy!
